AKWA IBOM POLY Revised 100% School Fees Increase

The Governing Council of the Akwa
Ibom State polytechnic (AKWAPOLY)
has suspended the planned 100
percent increase of students school
fees following protest and agitations
from students of the institution.

According to the Chairman,governing
council, Dr Akon Eyakenyi, the
decision is to enable it look into the
new policy and implement it in a way
that would best suit both interest of the students and the management.

Eyakenyi called on students to always follow due process and avoid
unnecessary protest as not to allow
disgruntled elements to take advantage of the protest.
