EKSUSU Open Letter To The VC

Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti
Ekiti State.
26t August, 2016.
TO:
The Vice Chancellor,
Ekiti State University,
Ado-Ekiti,
Dear Sir,
OPEN LETTER ON SCREENING SLIP FEE
We appreciate your fatherlism towards the just concluded session and we commend your efforts
in ensuring students study conveniently without pains.

Our most gratitude goes to your view on economy crises concerning the payment of the remaining
N15,000 school fees and we promise to pay soonest.

As you can see, Buhari is still the president and many Nigerians are in pains. We appeal to you to see to the issue below.

After N5600 payment for Post Utme Application which should have included the screening slip fee,
another N5600 is being demanded for again, for the printing of screening slip alone. If it was
N500, we will try to borrow and payback later but the price demanded for the screening slip is too exorbitant for us to find in a week not even talking about to queue in the bank.

Please sir, the poor hardly eat nowadays and the rich meal has
reduced to two per day. Money is not easy to get, no salaries for workers but education is
paramount.

Try to review the price and let the
poor benefit from your decision.

They are our brothers and it will affect us if we kept quiet.

Also on the visitation of EKSUSU EXCOS to your board sir, you made mention of increment on Incoming 100level students fee, we plead that the acceptance fee should remain the same or reduced, no payment should be made for admission letter and reasonable amount but less
than N15,000 should be added due to accommodation.

Sir with respect for your authority and humbleness I speak to represent, if not all but thousands of incoming 100level students.

If this is rude to your power sir, I am sorry for it is good for one to die than thousands to be buried; it is
not easy for us out there to earn money in this period of Naira Devaluation.

It would have come through SUG but they are too busy -working for our sakes, for I believe in them
as the best team from the past.

We appreciate you in advance as you see to this.

Yours faithfully,
Signed
*Adeniji Adekunle James*

*NUESA Gen. Sec.*
