Our Matriculation Ceremony for the 2016/2017 Academic Session was a grand and remarkable occasion.
We had 47 Matriculating students with
their families and friends celebrating with them.
The day began with Holy Mass and the ceremony itself was brief but filled and bursting with positive energy to charge the new intakes on this journey towards a fulfilling career in Hospitality.
The Deputy Provost Ifeoma Nwabachili
challenged the students with her speech on Accountability, Responsibility and Authority.
Our Guest Speaker, Nancy Usman - Groups and Events Account Manager, Four Points by Sheraton - a past student of the College delivered a speech on Hospitality; Hope for the Nation.'
She began by relating her Wavecrest experience!She reaffirmed herself as an ever faithful Flag Bearer of the college as the foundation of the heights she has attained in her career in hospitality today! She appreciated her lecturers
and especially Gloria Inyangudo and Zaina Silva as well as her course adviser Belinda Nwosu for all their support and encouragement.
She encouraged the students to be focused,hardworking and to make the right choices on a daily basis.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of our Board of Directors as well as our members of our Governing council.
Our seasoned MC Mrs. Eboigbe did a fantastic job and the ceremony came to a delightful end at about 11.45 a.m. when our HND 2 students took it up from there.
