The Senate at its 348th meeting held on 7th December, 2016 approved Monday, 13th to Sunday, 19th March, 2017 as the first semester break for 2016/2017 session as contained in the Academic Calendar of Events.
A statement signed by the Registrar, Fatima Binta Mohammed advised the lecturers and students to observe the break.
However, normal academic activities would resume on Monday, 20th March, 2017.
