Letter Of Notification

Revolutionary colleagues, this letter is to inform you about the latest development in our union. Please be informed that Comrade Odunyemi Adegbola, the President of the union has been removed from office indefinitely. This is to fulfil Section 71(1) of the AAUASU constitution which states 'Any officer of the Union may be removed from office if a notice of allegation in writing signed by not less than one-third of the member of the SEC, the SRC or the SJC stating that the officer in question is guilty of gross misconduct in the performance of the functions of his, detailed particular of which may be specified ". The "gross misconduct" is "specified" below : The President of the Union, Comrade Odunyemi Adegbola forged the signature of the General Secretary in a letter sent to the management asked for an increment in union dues with over one hundred and fifty percent and equally asked for a certain sum to be added without the knowledge of the executive members, the legislature and the other members of the union through a Congress. Proper evidence is available and will be submitted to the necessary quarters immediately.

Therefore, in line with Section 73 (1) of AAUASU "The Vice President shall hold the office of the President becomes vacant being reason of death, resignation, impeachment, permanent incapacity or removal from office for any other reason in accordance of the provision of this constitution ", Comrade Ayeni Rita, the vice president of the union becomes the Acting President of the union immediately. All properties of the union in possession of Mr. Adegbola Odunyemi must be returned to the union secretariat with immediate effect.
