LASU Publish List Of Offence That Cause Exam Malpractices And Its Consequences

The 2015/2016 Rain Semester
Examination would soon commence
across various faculties in the University.

In view of the forgoing, the Students’
Affairs Division of the University has
decided to publish list of offences that constitute Examination Misconduct in Lagos State University as contained in
the Students’ Handbook, page 79.

For the avoidance of doubt, the following offences are what constitute Examination Misconduct:
i. Impersonation (within and outside
Lagos State University)
ii. Use of textbooks and notes
iii. Scribbling on any part of the body
iv. Use of scrabbled notes
v. Scribbling on material such as pencil,rulers, eraser, calculators, desk, and mathematical set e.t.c.
vi. Exchange of answer scripts/questions papers
vii. Discussion during examination
viii. Use of microchips
ix. Use of cellular phones
x. Insubordination/disobedience to
invigilators

Please NOTE that the penalty for the
above listed Examination Misconduct is EXPLUSION from the University and Students are warned NOT bring hand bags/luggage’s and cellular phones into examination hall (books are not permitted).
