Federal University Of Agriculture Makurdi Shut Down Following Cult Violence 4 Students Confirm Dead

The management of Federal University
of Agriculture, Makurdi, has shut down
the institution indefinitely.

Following cult related violence in the
school which left 4 students dead on 8th
June,2016

According to the institution’s
Information Officer, Mr Dzerka Fanafa,
the decision to close down the school
was taken in an emergency meeting of
stake holders on Wednesday night in
which it was unanimously agreed that
students leave the hostels before noon
on Thursday to avoid escalation of the
crisis.


Fanafa said the university Senate was
expected to meet later on Thursday to
ratify the decision taken at the meeting.
